Bill holds the first ever Adaptive slot on the PSIA National team and will participate with and work alongside fellow Alpine national team members. To quote from one of his ski tips, “The similarities between the skiing techniques of a sit-down mono skier and his or her stand-up peer are more numerous than the differences.” Bill has traveled the world as a Paralympic athlete and as an adaptive ski clinician in Korea and Spain. He has also conducted continuing education courses at the annual DSUSA Ski Spectacular in Breckenridge, Colorado. Bill holds a BA in Physical Education with an emphasis on Adapted PE and a BA in Recreation and Parks Management with an emphasis on Therapeutic Recreation. His enjoys substitute teaching K-12 for the Tahoe-Truckee School District and also owns and operates “Unlimited Skiing” water ski school.
